The cover depicts the main berthing jetty for trawlers on Grimsby docks - the North Wall - during the 1950s, when activity was at its peak. Masts as far as the eye could see! These ships were waiting for the fitters to finish their maintenance and repair work, so they could return to the prolific North Sea and North Atlantic fishing grounds. Turnaround time was typically two days.
